COVIDReady Maryland

With new COVID-19 variants emerging, and school and activities bringing us all back together, it’s important to make sure you and your family are COVIDReady. Here are a few simple steps you can take:

COVID Ready Maryland

Know your vaccination status.

Go to the “Are You Up-To-Date?” portal that will allow you to check your vaccination status within seconds.

Get vaccinated or boosted.

See if your health care provider offers COVID vaccinations, or visit covidvax.maryland.gov to find a COVID-19 clinic near you that can provide vaccinations or boosters. You can also call the GoVAX Call Center at 1-855-MD-GoVAX for assistance.

Be prepared at home.

Make sure you have COVID-19 rapid tests at home and test if you have any symptoms. Free at-home COVID tests are available statewide through local health departments and at state-led testing sites, and you can receive free COVID tests from the federal government as well.

Know what to do if positive.

You may be eligible for medication to prevent severe illness or hospitalization, but oral medication is only effective if started within five days of illness. If you test positive, act fast and visit CovidTEST.maryland.gov to find a treatment location nearest you. If you are 50+ or have underlying health conditions, talk to your doctor about your eligibility for treatment and have a COVIDReady plan.
